I visited Tarland recently after being away for 45 years and to my amazement the place had not changed a bit apart from a couple of new houses here and there. It brought back many happy memories and I hope to return again soon. I will keep up with Tarland news on your web site.
Cheers.
It would be good to hear from other people who have known Tarland in the past and to hear how they feel about Tarland today.
I have lived here for 25 years and would not wish to live anywhere else.
It is a thrill to return to our beautiful countryside whenever I have been away.
There is a lot going on here……The Hall, Composting, Oral History, Walks, Cycleways, Youth Club, Horticultural Society, History Group, Tennis Club, Football……….and more…..
Hello Again,
This time last year I was getting all excited about our big adventure going from Adelaide to Tarland after 45 years.
We had a great trip but have thought of nothing else since returning to Australia. Hope to make the trip again next year. If anybody in Tarland remembers the Burness’s(mum and dad were the local doctors in the village) please send me an email. I would love to hear from you.
Cheers,
Robin.
